Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Tuesday afternoon, with corn and wheat higher and
soybeans ending slightly lower.
Technical buying at the Board of
Trade helped to lift both corn and wheat values.
Moderate losses in soybean meal
prices weighed on soybean values.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were mostly 6 to 9 cents higher at 7.19-7.36.
Soybean bids were mostly 4 to 5
cents lower at 14.09-14.26.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 6 to 7 cents higher at 7.21-7.41.
