Wilma Lou Hurley, 71, of Lincoln, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at the
Hopedale Medical Complex.

Wilma Lou Hurley, 71, of Lincoln, passed away
January 27, 2013 at the Hopedale Medical Complex.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, February
01, 2013 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home
in Lincoln. Visitation will be one hour prior to
the service. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery,
Lincoln.
Wilma was born August 23, 1941 in Quitman, Arkansas,
the daughter of Lucien and Viola (Sargent) Cox. She
married William "Bill" Hurley on December 24, 1959.
He preceded her in death on March 22, 2010.
She attended Full Gospel Tabernacle in Lincoln. She
was a beautician for 35 years and owner of the Pic-n-Pin
beauty shop at Friendship Manor.

Surviving are her daughter Leah Hurley of Lincoln;
her son William A. Hurley Jr. (Teresa) of Fairbury;
grandchildren Spencer Allen Hurley and Miley Rae
Hurley; brothers Gerald Cox of Lincoln and Delbert
Cox of Metropolis; and sisters Marie Henderson of
Lincoln and Lois Kratzner of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Bill, an infant son, brothers: Leroy Cox,
Cecil Coz, John Cox, Harold Cox, and Robert Cox,
sisters Beatrice Johnson and an infant sister.
Memorial donations may be made to The Susan G. Komen
Foundation or to St. Jude's Children's Research
Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
