[July 08, 2013]  SPRINGFIELD -- Lois W. Duhs, 78, of Springfield, formerly of Mount Pulaski, died early Monday morning, July 8, 2013, at her home.

Springfield- Lois W. Duhs, 78, of Springfield, formerly of Mt. Pulaski, passed away early Monday morning on July 8, 2013 at her home.

Lois was born in Sangamon County on December 5, 1934, daughter of Harry and Marie Huffman Mason. She was united in marriage to William Albert Duhs on March 5, 1954 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2010. She is survived by her daughter: Vickie (Jack) Leininger of Springfield, IL; brother: Billy Joe (Jean) Mason of Mt. Pulaski; sister: Jenny Sams of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and a son-in-law.

Funeral Director

Lois was a homemaker and she was a member of the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church. She was a dedicated wife and a wonderful mother.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery with Ryan Edgecombe conducting services. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
