It has been a long time coming, but it has finally happened. The bridge on Oglesby Street is gone. In the last two days, crews made quick work of demolishing the bridge and hauling away debris. The city will place temporary barriers on each of the now two dead-end streets. As the budget allows, the city will install permanent barriers with some type of decorative element.
