Illinois country grain prices were
moderately lower on Tuesday afternoon.
Good crop condition ratings and
approaching harvest pressure combined to push values lower.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 1 to 3 cents lower at 4.38-4.76.
Soybean bids were 10 to 20 cents
lower at 13.18-13.62.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were down 2 to 15 cents at 4.42-4.62.
Soybean bids were 6 to 25 cents
lower at
13.42-13.93.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly
5 to 7 cents lower at 4.34-4.65.
Soybean bids were 10 to 15 cents
lower at 13.40-13.85.
Wheat bids were 1 to 2 cents
higher at 5.91-6.12.
