The little oinker above on the far left was the center of attention Wednesday evening at the Lincoln Culver's. For the past several weeks, a "kiss-a-pig" contest has been going on at the restaurant, raising money for the Lincoln FFA. At 7 p.m. when the votes were tallied, it was a tie between restaurant owner Elaine Aue and local real estate agent Seth Goodman. So, both Aue and Goodman, center photos, puckered up with the piggie. Another contestant in the fundraiser was Andi Hake, right, of the Lincoln/Logan Chamber of Commerce. Though she didn't "win," she did pay the pig a visit before he left. Surprisingly the little oinker was squealing his head off when she walked up, but he quieted down the second Hake spoke to him. "I'm the pig whisperer," she quipped. Altogether the fundraiser brought in $462.39 for FFA, with Aue and Goodman each earning $178.96. The FFA will also receive 10 percent of the Wednesday receipts from Culver's.
