TEMPORARY DRIVER Logan County Joint Solid Waste Agency is seeking a Temporary Driver for its recycling route.

Position to begin immediately. Must have both a current CDL License with IDOT Physical Card and clean driving record. Experience with hydraulic systems and/or garbage truck operation desirable. Position is part-time (10 - 12 hrs/week). Position could lead to substitute driver status for the agency.

Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois is searching for a dynamic, motivated leader with exceptional drive to fill the position of FAMILY ASSISTANCE DIRECTOR.

Oversee and supervise staff at the Family Assistance Centers in six counties to assure they are positively viewed by county organizations, clients, businesses, government officials, funding sources and the public in general as an effective community resource representative locally of the overall CAPCILorganization. Follow and implement guidelines and grant requirements established by various federal and state regulatory agencies (LIHEAP and CSBG).

Qualifications include: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree with experience, excellent oral communication and writing skills, proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, supervisory experience, valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance in order to travel to sites in six (6) central Illinois counties, willingness to travel outside the service area for meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities include oversight of the entire operation of the SLF, supervision of the management team, marketing and community networking. Prefer the candidate be a licensed nurse, as well as have a strong financial/accounting background.

The Logan County Highway Department is now accepting applications for part-time road maintenance positions.

Applicants must be self-motivated, have a high level of maturity, and be able to work with limited supervision. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college. Applicants should have experience with machinery and/or engineering coursework. A valid driver’s license is required.
