Looking for Umpires

Lincoln Park District is looking for Umpires for the 2014 Girls Softball and Boy’s Baseball recreational leagues this summer. Those interested should come out to the Lincoln Park District, at 1400 Railer Way, and pick up an application at the front desk. An umpire informational meeting will be held at the Lincoln Recreation Center Craft Room on Saturday, May 3 from 10:00-11:00 am.

TEMPORARY DRIVER Logan County Joint Solid Waste Agency is seeking a Temporary Driver for its recycling route.

Position to begin immediately. Must have both a current CDL License with IDOT Physical Card and clean driving record. Experience with hydraulic systems and/or garbage truck operation desirable. Position is part-time (10 - 12 hrs/week). Position could lead to substitute driver status for the agency.

SUMMER ROAD MAINTENANCE INTERNSHIP

The Logan County Highway Department is now accepting applications for part-time road maintenance positions.

Applicants must be self-motivated, have a high level of maturity, and be able to work with limited supervision. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college. Applicants should have experience with machinery and/or engineering coursework. A valid driver’s license is required.
