According to meteorologists, the city of Lincoln received nearly two inches of rain on Friday morning. For those who were out in it, that is probably no surprise as in a matter minutes, city streets were underwater. Fortunately, the rain slowed and stopped after about 30 to 45 minutes and the streets, for the most part drained quickly.
