According to meteorologists, the city of Lincoln received nearly two inches of rain on Friday morning. For those who were out in it, that is probably no surprise as in a matter minutes, city streets were underwater. Fortunately, the rain slowed and stopped after about 30 to 45 minutes and the streets, for the most part drained quickly.   Pictured above are Ottawa Street at 9 a.m. and Brainard's Branch at 10:30 a.m.
