			“Standards in the Snow” concert will bring out holiday spirit

            LINCOLN - The Lincoln College choral 
			program will present its winter concert, “Standards in the Snow: An 
			Evening of Jazz Standards and Christmas Tunes” at 7:30 p.m. on 
			Friday and Saturday, December 12 and 13 in the Johnston Center for 
			the Performing Arts on the Lincoln campus. The concert will feature 
			the Lincoln College Chorale, the Chamber Choir, soloists from the 
			Chamber Choir and Jazz Studies program, and a vocal jazz combo. |

			 The concert will feature a number of holiday and jazz classics 
			including “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing),” 
			“Someone to Watch Over Me,” and an Irving Berlin medley of Christmas 
			tunes. The performance will be the first under the direction of 
			Laurie Lewis, the College’s new Assistant Professor of Vocal Music. 
			General admission tickets are $2 and will be available at the door.
