The Philadelphia 76ers signed Turkish power forward/center Furkan
Aldemir.
The native of Turkey has been playing professionally in his home
country since 2007-08. He was on the active list for Monday night's
game against the Boston Celtics.

 The Miami Heat recalled guard Shabazz Napier and center Hassan
Whiteside from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development
League.
Napier appeared in one game with the Skyforce, recording 22 points,
three assists, two rebounds and a steal. He has appeared in 23 games
with the Heat this season, averaging 5.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.0
assists and 21.4 minutes while shooting 42.9 percent from the field.
