Monday
evening was the last meeting of the Lincoln City
council for this calendar year. As has become a
tradition, the city aldermen and mayor announced
their choice for citizens of the year. One award was
given in each of the four wards, and one award given
by Mayor Keith Snyder. This year's recipients were
Ward 1- Larry and Rhea Martincic; Ward 2 - David
Wilmert; Ward 3 - The Jon Graber Family; Ward 4 -
Patricia and Janet Berger. The Mayor's choice for
Citizen of the Year was the LCHS Railers Basketball
Number 1 Fan - Tim McDougall. LDN will have more
coverage on these awards in the Wednesday edition.
