 Junior wide receiver Brady Cufaude (Pekin, H.S.) was named the
team’s Most Valuable Offensive Player and Wide Receiver\Tight End of
the Year while senior linebacker Andy Roth (Naperville, Joliet
Catholic H.S.) earned the Most Valuable Defensive Player Award,
Linebacker of the Year and Blue Helmet awards. Punter senior Grant
Shreve (Zionsville, Ind., H.S.) earned the Most Valuable Special
Teams Player Award.
Junior offensive lineman Anthony Berkman (Medinah, Lake Park West
H.S.) won the Big Blue’s Offensive Lineman of the Year. Sophomore
Travis Goveia (Downs, Tri-Valley H.S.) was named the Defensive
Lineman of the Year.
Senior Justin Brooks (Bloomington, H.S.) was named the Offensive
Back of the Year and senior cornerback Mike Blakely (St. Louis, Mo.,
Hazelwood West H.S.) was named the Defensive Back of the Year.
 Wide receiver Logan Podowicz (Clifton, Central H.S.) was named the
Most Valuable Freshman-Offense and linebacker Nikia Averitte
(Indianapolis, Indiana, Lawrence Central H.S.) was named the Most
Valuable Freshman –Defense.
