Lincoln Junior High volleyball results

[February 14, 2014]  The Lincoln Junior High volleyball team played Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

LJHS vs. Mount Zion

The LJHS team played Monday night at home against the Mount Zion Braves.

The seventh-grade girls lost in two games: 6-25, 6-25.

Stat leaders:

• Kate Maupin: 1 kill

• Maddie Tanner: 1 assist

• Audrey Dennison: 1 ace

The eighth-grade girls won in three games: 21-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Stat leaders:

• Grace Bossingham: 15 kills, 5 aces

• Lexi Clark: 29 assists, 12 aces, 11 service points

• Allena Benninger: 3 kills, 8 service points

• Emma Cline: 2 aces, 5 service points

LJHS vs. Rochester

Tuesday night the girls traveled to Rochester Junior High.

The seventh-graders lost in two games: 8-25, 13-25.

• Madison Farris: 1 kill

• Alivia Catey: 3 service points

The eighth-grade girls won in three games: 18-25, 25-22, 25-21.

• Lexi Clark: 2 aces, 10 service points, 17 assists

• Ariana Spencer: 4 kills, 2 blocks

• Kerstin Osborne: 5 service points, 1 ace, 9 digs

LJHS vs. Normal Metcalf

The volleyball team played Normal Metcalf at home on Wednesday.

The seventh-grade girls lost 12-25, 19-25.

• Emily Craig: 5 aces, 2 assists, 8 service points.

• Alyssia LeSuer: 2 aces

The eighth-grade girls won 25-23, 25-16.
