LINCOLN —
Darrell "Scott" Welch, 43, of Riverside County, Calif., formerly of
Lincoln, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at his home.

Darrell "Scott" Welch, 43, of Riverside County,
California, formerly of Lincoln, IL., passed away
January 15, 2014 at his residence.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January
25, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Holland
Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM also at the
funeral home with Father Jeffrey Laible officiating.
Scott was born December 22, 1970 in Lincoln, IL.,
the son of Jack and Donna (Hagan) Welch. He
graduated from Lincoln Community High School in
1989. He proudly served his country in the United
States Army for 20 years. He was currently enrolled
in Kaplan University School of Business.

Surviving are his parents Jack and Donna Welch of
Beason, IL.; his children Trevor Welch and Alyssa
Welch both of Sanford, NC.; his siblings Jerry
Welch, Tracy (Annette) Welch and Ashley (Sara) Welch
all of Lincoln, IL.; his nieces Kayla Welch and
Haley Welch both of Lincoln, IL.; special aunt Sally
(Tom) Rouch of Elkhart, IN.; and several other
aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the family and
will be accepted at the funeral home.
