Pictured above is the future home of the Lincoln Mission Mart Thrift Store. The store will be moving to 119 N. Sangamon St.  Home Sweet Home Ministries of Bloomington, the owners of Mission Mart, have said they will expand their outreach programs in order to offer services to Logan County residents. This week Matt Burgess and Matt Drat of Home Sweet Home Ministries attended the "We are Lincoln" meeting in order to get a feel for what may be needed in this community.  Read more about this in the story below: "Grass-roots community group sets action items."

Wouldn't it be great to know exactly what Lincoln coach Neil Alexander was saying to his team as they huddled on the sidelines Friday night? The game against Lanphier was a highly anticipated one, with everyone knowing the Railers were going head-to-head with possibly the only team this season that was their equal in talent. The game went into overtime, and even then it was a hard fight, with the Railers at one time trailing by 10 points. In the end the Lions took the game, but only by a margin of three, beating the Railers 55-52.
