Free CUB clinic to show residents how to cut utility costs
Clinic to be held at the Oasis July 9

[June 30, 2014]  The Citizens Utility Board (CUB) and state Sen. Bill Brady will hold a special clinic in Lincoln to help residents potentially save hundreds of dollars a year.

Consumers should bring their electric, natural gas and phone bills to be analyzed by CUB staffers. That clinic is:

Presenting alongside representatives from Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s office, CUB will give consumers information on:

  • CUB services, including its new office location and its Consumer Hotline, 1-800-669-5556.
  • How to spot unnecessary charges on electric, natural gas and phone bills.
  • Making the right choices in the electric and phone markets.
