LDN -- Top Stories

Friday evening, at the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation Street Fest, the people of Mount Pulaski were dancing in the streets to the crooning of their hometown boy, John Schlitt. The Logan county native was born in Lincoln, but spent his childhood years living in Mount Pulaski. Today, his brother Jeff still lives there, so the weekend was a great homecoming for Schlitt.

Last Friday evening the community of Mount Pulaski celebrated with a street festival fundraiser event for the Mount Pulaski Courthouse. The evening was filled with live entertainment, fun and games for the kids, and food and drink for adults. Inside the courthouse, one of the main attractions was the artwork of students from the Mount Pulaski Grade School. Each class was asked to participate in creating their version of the Mount Pulaski Courthouse. The above picture shows some of the wonderful artwork from first-grade students.
