[June 21, 2014]Bloomington’s
Sound of Illinois (SOI) chorus will present its two-song contest
package as part of an 8 p.m. concert Tuesday (June 24) at Second
Presbyterian Church’s Fellowship Hall. The 30-minute program debuts
the 75-man chorus’ competition set that will be presented at the
Barbershop Harmony Society’s international contest in Las Vegas July
4.
Directed by Terry Ludwig, SOI will be representing the state of
Illinois for the seventh consecutive year, and the 10th time in its
72-year history. The group rehearses Tuesday nights from 7 to 9:30
p.m. at the church.
