Donald Wayne Jackson, 56, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014,
at 7:45 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

LINCOLN-Donald Wayne Jackson, 56, of Lincoln died at
7:45 pm April 29, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center,
Springfield, IL.
Donald was born August 12, 1957 in Lincoln, IL the
son of Donald W. and Evelyn White Jackson. He
married Mary Beth Hobbs March 14, 1988 in Las Vegas,
NV. She survives in Lincoln.
He is also survived by his mother; one daughter:
Kelli (Jeremy) Wells of Elkhart, IL; one grandchild:
Carson Wells of Elkhart, one brother: Tracy (Pam)
Jackson of Lincoln; a half-sister: Joyce Goodman of
Higginsville, MO and several nieces and nephews.

He
was preceded in death by his father and one brother:
Kyle.
Donald worked as product manager at Eaton
Corporation on second shift. He worked on the floor,
in management, and various committees at Eaton. He
was a safety officer and a union representative.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Robert
Henderson officiating. Visitation will be
Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at
the funeral home. Memorials may be given in his name
to the American Cancer Society or Memorial Home
Hospice, or Humane Society of Logan County.
