These two photos represent two amazing groups of young people who on Saturday evening enjoyed their Junior-Senior proms.  Surely this event brought some parents to tears as they came to realize their babies have grown up, and are now excellent young men and women.  LDN has complete coverage of both the Lincoln and Mount Pulaski events in today's edition.  Be sure to check out the the three dozen photo albums posted below.

Pictured above are Cesar and Rosa Vargas with children Lupita Lizeth (L) and Juan Roberto (R). The little tyke in the lower right is Rebecca Drake’s granddaughter Abygail who just wanted to have her photo taken.  Friday evening the Vargas' celebrated a very special occasion, Cesar officially became a United States Citizen.  The Vargas operate the Chestnut Family Restaurant.  When Ceasar returned from taking his oath of citizen ship in Springfield Friday, the entire community turned out for a wonderful party in his honor.  Be sure to read the story and check out the albums below.
