Lincoln Police Chief Ken Greenslate and Deputy Chief Mike Geriets sit side-by- side Monday night at the meeting of the Lincoln City Council.  Greenslate was sworn into another year in his current position and he then requested the city's approval for his appointment of Geriets to serve another year as his deputy.  Geriets was also sworn into another year in his current position with the city.
