Evan Applegate is the LTEC Student of the Month

[November 05, 2014]  LINCOLN - Evan Applegate, son of Patrick & Melissa Lee, was named October Student of the Month for the Automotive Technology program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center.

Evan is a senior at Lincoln Community High School.

Mr. Jon Graber, instructor, selected Evan because he is a top student and an all-around good person. Mr. Graber says that Evan is a hard working student that he can trust to work independently and get the job finished. Evan is not afraid to take on difficult projects or lead other students. Evan shows aptitude & initiative in his work. Mr. Graber goes on to say that he has had the pleasure of having Evan in his program for two years and has enjoyed having Evan in his class. Evan plans to go into business for himself as an owner/operator of a trucking company.

Evan received a $50 dollars from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award and honored him at a noon luncheon.
