"September
at Creekside,” an acrylic by Tony Shuff, will be
accompanied by in-progress photos during Takes on
Nature: Artists’ Views of the Great Outdoors, the
latest show scheduled at Lincoln Art Institute.
Shuff's work, as well as over 20 other works by
members of Logan County Arts, will illustrate the
technique and challenges of plein air painting,
which is done spontaneously on site rather than from
photos or memory. The opening for the show will be
from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at the gallery located
at 112 S. McLean St., next to the Lincoln Post
Office.
