							Obituary 
							Richard J. "Dick" Langley, 79, of Atlanta, died at 
							10:47 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014, at St. 
							Clara's Manor in Lincoln.
 Funeral Services for Mr. Langley will be held at 
							11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Atlanta 
							Assembly Church. Pastor Paul Weber will officiate.
 
 Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 
							a.m. at the church prior to the service.
 
 Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. 
							Military Rites will be accorded by Bloomington VFW 
							Post 454.
 
 Richard Joseph Langley, Sr., was born June 22, 1935, 
							in Lincoln, the son of Emmett and Helen Grace Smith 
							Langley. He married Judith Ann Stith at Atlanta 
							Assembly Church on December 30, 1988. She survives.
 
							Dick is survived by his wife, Judy; children: Judy 
							Ridgeway of Libertyville, Brenda Anderson of 
							Bloomington, Rick (Sandy) Langley of Lincoln, Joseph 
							Langley of Springfield, Lisa (Brad) Hesse of Pawnee, 
							Mark (Linda) Langley of Peoria, Shawny Langley of 
							Decatur and Wally (Laura) Painter of Oswego; one 
							brother, Bill (Norma) Langley of Mt. Zion, numerous 
							grandchildren and great-grandchildren. | 
                
                 
							Mr. Langley was preceded in death by one son: Wayne, 
							one daughter: Terri Lynn and one brother: Donnie 
							Langley.
 
 Dick retired from Ball-Foster Glass in Lincoln where 
							he worked as a glass blower. He served in the United 
							States Army from 1954-1956 and was a member of VFW 
							#454 of Bloomington, along with Glass Bottle Blowers 
							Association #71. Dick was an avid fisherman, 
							especially enjoying catching catfish and crappie.
 
 Memorials may be made to the family.
 
 Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley 
							Funeral Home of Atlanta.
