New Holland American Legion Auxiliary seeks Veteran photos

[October 28, 2014]  NEW HOLLAND - The Porter Bell Unit #715, American Legion Auxiliary, of New Holland will be honoring the veterans, past and present, in and around the New Holland area through a window display at Slackers Bar & Grill, downtown New Holland, the week preceding Veteran’s Day.

We are requesting a copy of a photo of your military member(s) for the display. Please, no original photos. A 5 x 7 or 4 X 6 photo would be great since window size is minimal.

A box has been placed at the New Holland Banking Center. Place photos in an envelope along with the name of the veteran(s), branch of service, years of service and, maybe, their relationship to you.

Deadline for submitting photos is November 3rd.

We hope you will take some time to come to downtown New Holland and view the window display honoring the men and women who have sacrificially given of themselves to serve their country and to protect its citizens.
