Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To the editor: To the voters in Ward 3; this Tuesday, Feb. 24th
you have an opportunity to select your representative on our city
council.
We urge you to vote for our incumbent alderman, Todd Mourning.
Service on any community board or council is not an easy assignment
and, is often, not appreciated by those who do not try to stay
informed.
|
Todd Mourrning has always made the effort to keep informed and
despite his busy professional schedule, agreed to an interim
appointment to our city council and is now a candidate for a full
term. Every board should have a Todd Mourning - thoughtful,
intelligent, willing to debate issues, and with the best interest of
our city in his mind.
We ask you to vote for Todd Mourning as your alderman in Ward 3. -
Try it, you'll like it!
