On
Tuesday evening, the Lincoln Historic Preservation
Commission considered a request for a replacement
awning for Simply Homespun, a business located in
downtown Lincoln, formerly the location for Mission
Mart. While not opposed to an awning, the Commission
did reject the design submitted and offered some
guidance on what would be acceptable to maintain the
overall continuity of the look of the downtown
shopping district.
