The Lincoln Community High School Speech Team produced four champions at this past weekend's Regional competition. Congratulations to Claire Conrady, Lena Stapleton, McKenzie Landers and Braden Tanner. They will next compete in the Sectional Tournament on Saturday at Belleville West High School.

Zachary McCray has been named the December Student of the Month at Lincoln Community High School. Zachary is a senior at LCHS and the son of William McCray and Jesica Leckrone of Lincoln.

Senior Lincoln senior pitcher, Holly Davis, signed with Division 1 Lakeland
Community College in Mattoon. She was joined by her parents Bob and Crystal
Davis, Lakeland's Coach Nelson (left), Uncle & Lincoln Coach Darrin Worth
(middle), along with Lakeland's pitching Coach Throneburge (right).  Holly has pitched for travel ball since she was 7 years old. She said "I've worked hard for many years to come this far. When talent isn't getting the job done, hard work does, and I'll keep pushing until the end. I hope to not only make my family proud at college, but the younger kids whom I worked with that are now in the same position that I used to be in. I am more than grateful to receive this opportunity."
