Saturday
morning was a near perfect fall morning with cool
temperatures and a light fog at Kickapoo Park on the
north side of Lincoln. There, Chris and Jamie Beard
of Reps Gym hosted the second annual Ruck Run to
benefit the Logan County Food Pantry and local
veterans. The run brought in 2,500 pounds of food
for the pantry and just over $2,600 in cash, which
was awarded to the Lincoln VFW for the Veterans
Relief Fund.
