Assistant County Engineer

The Logan County Highway Department is accepting applications for the position of Assistant County Engineer. The position includes design, construction, and maintenance engineering on the roads and bridges of Logan County.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 4 years of practical experience involving highway/bridge design and construction.

Candidate should be familiar with IDOT policies and procedures. Must have strong computer/technology skills, and have good communication skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of public stakeholders.

Candidate should be a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois, or have the ability to become registered within 2 years of employment.
