 To the editor:
While I admire the other candidates for Lincoln Mayor, having
served with Kevin Bateman on the Logan County Board I can vouch for
what an effective mayor he would be.
He is a true crusader for saving taxpayer money - tighter with
government money than any elected official I’ve known. And he gets
things done because he brings people together to figure out
solutions for the common good and then works tirelessly to see that
they’re carried out.

Although Kevin is outspoken, he is always willing to consider
other points of view and modify his view when convinced it’s
necessary. That’s something you don’t see often.
I would encourage residents who want to see Lincoln city government
operate as efficiently and effectively as possible to vote for Kevin
Bateman for mayor.
