Yes,
there is such a thing as a free lunch,
especially for kids under the age of 18,
with a program initiated in Lincoln this
summer. For the past several weeks, a
program funded by the Illinois State
Board of Education and the United States
Department of Agriculture has made free
lunches possible for all kids under 18
years old. The program runs through the
end of July including today, Thursday,
July 20th; Tuesday, July 25th and
Thursday, July 27th. The meals are
served at the Lincoln Junior High School
with optional activities at 11:30 a.m.
and lunch served at noon.
