LDN -- Top Stories

The parking lot at the Lincoln American Legion filled with utility repair vehicles on Wednesday morning offered a silent testimony to what the residents of Lincoln and Logan County have endured the last few days. It also tells the story of how extensive the storm damage from the Monday night/Tuesday morning double whammy storms has proven to be. This morning things are calming down, but there is still a lot of work to do to get our community cleaned up, and the potential of more storms this evening.

On Tuesday evening, Walt Landers of the Lincoln Street Department noted that trees standing this morning had been whipped around a lot, and there will be trees that are weak from the first two storms. If severe storms do hit again tonight, those trees will be very vulnerable.
