LINCOLN
- On Thursday, June 15th, the Military Order of the Purple Heart
Chapter 159 will recognize the incorporated cities and villages of
Logan County for the actions taken by their respective city
councils/village boards to each issue a Purple Heart Community
Proclamation.
|
The recognition event will take place in the
rotunda of the Logan County Courthouse at 6:45pm. the Military Order
of the Purple Heart will welcome representatives from each
city/village to this event and thank them for their work in issuing
Purple Heart Community Proclamations for their communities.
With the issuance of these Purple Heart Community Proclamations, it
is believed Logan County will become the first county in the nation
to have each of its incorporated cities/villages pass such a
proclamation. The Logan County Board already passed a Logan
County-wide proclamation earlier this year.
