On
Monday, crews from Matthews Construction
in Lincoln were busy working on adding
features to Lincoln's new Fitness Mat.
The Mat is being installed on Eight
Street in the corner of the lot that
once housed the old Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital. The Fitness Mat is a
collaborative effort between the city of
Lincoln that owns the lot, and Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital Community
Health Collaborative. A grand opening
ribbon cut and launch party are planned
for 9 a.m. Thursday, August 16th. The
public is invited to attend.
