On
Wednesday evening the doors were
locked and the parking lot empty at
the Dollar General Store in Mount
Pulaski. According to a sign posted
at the door the store has closed
because there is a water leak that
has posed a health hazard. The sign
states that the store is closed
until repairs can be made, and
offers an apology as well as the
offer of "Merry Christmas!"
|
It is unknown how
long the repairs will take, but it has been
reported that the leak is "major" and in the
foundation of the building, so that could take a
while. Store Manager Mamie Wilham posted on her
facebook page. "We will reopen just as soon as
we possibly can. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause you in the next
week or so. Merry Christmas to all and thank you
for your patience."
