Isaiah
Bowers, Peyton Taylor and Ben Grunder played on the North
team for the HOI All-Star game.
Isaiah Bowers put on quite a shooting clinic Wednesday night
in the Heart of Illinois All-Star basketball game at
Warrensburg-Latham. Representing the Lincoln Railsplitters,
Bowers poured in 30 points to lead the North. The South won
the contest 115-103. Cameron Getz of Meridian was named the
MVP of the game. Getz led the South with 18 points. Ben
Grunder also represented Lincoln and he scored nine points
in the loss. |
|
Mount Pulaski's
Peyton Taylor joined Bowers and Grunder on the North
team. Taylor scored 10 points and was a human highlight
reel of his own with three crowd-thrilling dunks.
The game featured high school seniors from throughout
Central Illinois and was held in the gym called "The
Birdcage." The annual event is sponsored by the Lions
Club.
