On
Friday, May 25th, CEFCU in Lincoln will celebrate the 30th
anniversary of the Lincoln Member Center with a day-long
celebration. The Grand Re-opening Ribbon Cut will kick-off at 8:30
a.m., continue with an all-day open house and conclude at 6 p.m.

At 9 a.m. you are invited to join the staff and
administration from CEFCU in a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by
Lincoln Daily News.
After the ribbon cut, be sure to linger a while for breakfast-style
refreshments and take a tour of the building and grounds, noting the
new changes in the membership center.
CEFCU – Citizens Equity First Credit Union – was established in
1937. In 1988 CEFCU came to Lincoln after acquiring the Logan County
Community Credit Union. The branch on Fifth Street stayed much the
same as it had been with the previous businesses until 1994 when
CEFCU underwent a re-model, taking on a new fresh look.
Now, in 2018, in honor of the 30th year, the facility has undergone
a second face-lift. When you come out on Friday be sure to check out
the changes and additions to the center. You will find a new
E-Service area which includes a computer workstation allowing
customers to access CEFCU online services at the center.

Customers at CEFCU will also enjoy a greater sense of
privacy as they do business at the teller counter with the addition
of privacy dividers. The main entrance to the building has a fresh
new look and the outdoor landscaping has been spiffed up adding to
the overall curb appeal of the business.
CEFCU is located at 341 Fifth Street. Please plan to join the staff
at CEFCU on Friday morning at 9 a.m. for the ribbon cut, then stay a
while for a visit with your favorite teller or CEFCU staff members while
enjoying the new décor, and, of course, a little snack.
