Employment/Jobs
A Family Support Specialist is responsible for providing
high quality and comprehensive services to children and families
in Logan County.
This includes: assist with recruitment and enrollment;
develop and maintain meaningful, productive relationships with
children and families through home visits, group meetings, and
other organized center events; assess family needs and initiate
referrals to external agencies when necessary; offer information
on child development and parenting issues; and maintain family
documentation with accuracy and regularity.
A Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, social work,
or a closely related field from an accredited school is
required.
