Bethel School
Last
Sunday, the Emden Historical Society
hosted an open house at the Bethel
one-room schoolhouse and Bethel Church
across the road from the school. The
school building has been carefully
restored and furnished to look as it
would have in the days when it was
functioning as a country school for
children within walking distance of the
building. |

school, some of the more popular
attractions were old photos that showed
the students and teachers who attended
the school.
