 Statement
by the Logan County Board on the passing of Charles (Chuck) Ruben
The tragic passing of our Logan
County Finance Chairman, Chuck Ruben has left a huge hole that will
never be filled for our county again. Chuck served our county for
over twenty years on the board. He served with dignity, honor and
respect. He brought lots of knowledge to the table in aspects of
finances, farming and life in general. Please keep Chuck’s family in
your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

Ruben, Charles Earl “Chuck”
The
Lincoln Rural Fire Protection District recently received a $2,000
grant from Ameren Illinois. The money will be used to purchase a new
gas detector for the department.
