The
2019-20 school year took a unique turn during the coronavirus as
schools closed in March and students sheltered in place for the
duration of the school year. For the Land of Lincoln CEO program,
education also continued in a less than traditional manner. Even so,
the students moved forward with preparing for their annual Trade
Show. When May came along, the students could not put on the trade
show at the American Legion in Lincoln as the previous four classes
had done. Instead, they presented their small businesses via live
stream video to a very specific audience.
In today's edition, LDN talks with four of the 13 students about
their school year, and the specific challenges they faced in light
of coronavirus.
