Memorial
Day services were held Monday at the Mount Pulaski
Cemetery and the Steenbergen Cemetery in rural Mount
Pulaski.
At the beginning of the ceremonies, Mount Pulaski Mayor
Matt Bobell drew attention to the new veteran banners on
display in the downtown area. The banners represent
those who served in various branches of the military
throughout the history of the community. The banners
include veterans who came home and those who sacrificed
all for their community and their country.
