An
arrest has been made in the Friday morning
burglary and arson at the Lincoln IGA. Police
arrested Michel A. Rowland Friday morning after
the suspect allegedly broke into the store,
burglarized it, then set it on fire.
IGA owner Charlie Lee said he is anxious to get
started in building back the popular downtown
grocery. It is his hope that the store will be
closed no more than a couple of months. |

On
Thursday morning, the Lincoln Public Library kicked off
its summer reading program with story time on the steps.
The outdoor activity was led by Tegan Follis, dressed in
yellow, from the youth services section of the library
with assistance from Youth Services Director Donna
Cunningham, dressed in blue. The first story time
featured the book "Blue vs Yellow" by Tom Sullivan.
