To the editor: The smear
campaign against Darren Bailey represents everything that is wrong
with the political landscape today. The money being wasted on the
flyers being sent with useless information is disgusting.
We wonder why the big problems facing our state never get solved but
it is not hard to figure out when you watch what is happening in the
Governor’s race. Instead of debating issues and offering solutions,
the Republican establishment is focused on bogus charges about
Darren Bailey’s vote history.
While Darren Bailey is talking about supporting parental rights,
ending the ridiculous FOID card laws in Illinois and reforming state
government, his establishment critics are focused on bogus, made-up
allegations about his vote history.

The Republican and Democrat establishment has given
us the worst credit rating in the nation, a mass exodus of working
families and one of the worst funded pension systems in the nation.
They had their chance, and the establishment has destroyed our
state. We need a new direction. We need Darren Bailey for Governor.
