The school should also be a resource
for you in educating your children in the areas of reading, reading
comprehension, math, true science and our actual history.
Non-scholastic activities are also very important in developing well
rounded people entering into adulthood. I want to see an honorable
education curriculum in Lincoln’s high school without Critical Race
Theory and state mandated core curriculum. Teachers and
administrators have much more knowledge about curriculum than
politicians. I myself have gained some knowledge through teaching in
a private school and substituting in the public school arena.
Extremist views are overtaking our society in all venues and in
every age group. Your children should be educated in alignment with
your values and protected from bigotry, racism, extremism and
immoral sexual conduct. They should also be taught to reject these
ideas and actions, not to participate in them. Every person is
unique and should not be bullied because of his or her unique
personality or physical design. Though our students should be kind
and pleasant toward others at all times, that acceptance should stop
at entering into wrong doing and immorality.
Sexual immorality is of particular importance to me. Children can
and are being damaged for life because of bad choices made by
themselves and/or others in this area. They don’t need to be
educated in every area of sexual conduct in order to refrain from
it. They should actually be protected from any sexual teaching other
than the basic biology of the human anatomy and how to recognize a
person who is a danger to them. Mammals throughout the world know
only reproduction with the opposite sex. Let’s teach our children to
act correspondingly since they are the highest life form in
existence. [to

I want to see great leaders come from the graduates
of LCHS who will make our state a fantastic place in which to live;
leaders who will turn back the clock several decades and destroy the
evil done to our state and even our nation.
Parents, I stand for transparency, listening to you
and I stand for your children. They deserve better than what the
average student in Illinois receives. Do you realize that only 30%
of Illinois high school graduates can read at grade level? Their
math skills aren’t any better. Lincoln is better than the Illinois
average, but we need to be at 100%. We need to get back to teaching
phonics. Sure, it’s a grade school subject, but a lot of our high
schoolers need this skill for their adult lives. We can still
provide this skill. Let’s be at the forefront in upgrading Illinois
schools. We pay high property taxes. We deserve quality education
for our children in return.
As a school board member, I stand accountable to all those at stake.
I hold to integrity in our curricula and transparency in governance.
Our school should also be transparent in what your children are
being taught and exposed to.
