The beauty of the Winter Wonderland Christmas trees was made all the more dramatic when the Logan County Courthouse in Lincoln was lit with holiday colors on the night of the Lincoln Christmas Parade.

The courthouse colors are thanks to the efforts of the Logan County Board who are doing a good many things this year to help make the season bright.

From left to right are Amy Dederich, Alexander Steffens, Jaedyn Gulley and Aiden Frye, the Land of Lincoln CEO Class of 2024. This week the four have been out and about in the community, selling their Candy CaneDeer. The hand-crafted ornament/sweet treats are the group business for the CEO students. Each year the class must develop a group business and run it successfully as a fundraiser to assist with the individual businesses each one will create for the CEO tradeshow to be held at the end of the school year.

If these young folks call on you, please consider giving them your support.

Business owners Ami and Rich Cleveland invite you to join them and their staff as they celebrate the months of hard work that has brought them to the culmination of Ami’s lifelong dream to own a brick-and-mortar restaurant.

The new business is located at 124-126 South Chicago Street in Lincoln, and will feature many of the same wonderful menu items patrons of the former Amigos Taco’s enjoyed, plus some new and exciting dishes.
