state championship today at 5:30 p.m. at CEFCU Arena in
Normal.

The Friday Lady Railer game against Deerfield set
records in a few different categories. Kloe Froebe
scored 45 points, the most scored by a single player in
state competition ever, beating the old record of 41 by
Tina Hutchinson of East St. Louis in 1983 . Froebe
also scored her 1,000th point for the season. |
Another big school record was broken by Jenna Bowman who
surpassed the record number of 3s made in a single season.
Lady Railer Alumnus Angie Bossingham Eskra was in the crowd
cheering as Bowman topped Bossingham's record 72.
The Lady Railers play tonight for the State Championship in
Normal.
