At the March meeting of the Logan County
Genealogical & Historical Society members and guests
heard from Dean Baker who has been a member of the
Railsplitter Coin Club for the past 50 years. Baker, a
retired teacher said there is much we can learn about
our nation’s history through the coinage that was minted
at certain times.
The membership and guests at the LCG&HS enjoyed the
event and has several questions for the long-time coin
collector.
